"We're not going to take any extra efforts now to calculate flow ... at this point."
- Tom Mueller, Press Officer, BP America (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/16/us/16oil.html)
This now infamous quote was spewed by long-time oil PR man - and RNC contributor - Thomas Mueller. Mueller began his big oil career nearly two decades ago, according to his Linkedin career profiles (one under "Thomas" one under "Tom" Mueller), when he took a job as Director of Government & Public Affairs for Amoco Caspian Sea in May 1993.
It seems Mueller is well versed in the art of deception, as seen in this article from Seattle in 2000.
A murder cover-up? Lest Sandy be sued for libel, I'll just provide the link to the story and you can decide for yourself whether or not the victim, owner of roughly 1,000 gas stations supplied by Mueller's company at the time, was really shot point-blank at his front door by a "pizza man".
